  • Portland OR to Washington DC
  • San Francisco to Washington DC
  • Los Angeles to Washington DC
  • Austin TX to Washington DC
  • Montreal to Washington DC
  • Tallahassee FL to Washington DC
  • Hawaii Island
  • Glenallen to Anchorage Alaska

    Summary of each route, Rider Application Form and all the Rider information can be found here;

We are aiming at a multi generational group of riders, encompassing university students, recent college graduates, mid-career professionals and retirees. Each rider has a goal of raising $2 per mile biked, which is $6000 for the entire cross country journey of approximately 3000 miles. Riders are recruited through international services organisations, bicycling clubs, bike shops and colleges and universities. Minimum age is 16.

Hosts will provide a free place for the riders to sleep overnight, such as a high school, YMCA, church, community center or a private home.   They will also provide a complementary dinner the evening that the riders arrive in the town. Hosts are asked to arrange climate change awareness events, which may include a press conference with the local media in order to engage communities and local leaders.

Climate change being the focus point, electric vans (one per route) are expected to be the support vehicles used and this will spread more awareness about the need to put an end to green house gas emissions. These support vans carry riders’ belongings , food supplies, first aid and bicycle spare parts while plying the bicycle route of the day, supporting the bikers and monitoring their progress.
